Infants

Hosted at Little Sprouts (Seaford), and Ollie's Imagination Station (Laurel), our infant care and education programs are available for children as young as 6 weeks of age. These classrooms are set up to ensure success in achieving all infancy developmental milestones, and support their growth as they transition into a one year old toddler classroom. Due to the high need for care, these classrooms close at 5:00 pm, to ensure that beginning and/or end of the day transitions for our smallest learners is not a stressful one, and that they are going to and from their trusted teachers and families. Infant classrooms are outfitted with small cribs, rocking chairs, and soft play environments, as well as toys and books chosen specifically to support their little bodies in a developmentally appropriate way.

Toddlers

As children age, so do our classrooms. In our toddler classrooms, you'll see the transition from cribs to cots for naptime, and much more room to run and play. Little bodies need a lot of space to learn and grow! Our toddler classrooms also have tables and chairs for a more structured meal time, as opposed to infant classrooms. Our youngest friends are learning independence with meal times, learning to use utensils and straws, and eventually onto open cups and more! Fine and gross motor development, as well as cognitive and language development is blossoming through these classrooms. In order to be enrolled in a toddler classroom, children must be fully independently mobile, as well as off of formula/baby food. Of course there are special circumstances that may need to be considered by each site's Center Administrator, so please reach out for more information!

Preschool

Preschool classrooms are bustling little rooms, where children are working more independently, and learning while doing so! Kindergarten readiness skills such as independent work, peer relationships, conflict resolution, and other social-emotional skill sets are being developed in these rooms. Classrooms have more defined learning centers for hands-on learning through play. Teachers within these classrooms support cognitive skill-development through hands-on learning, open-ended questions, and supporting our young learners through conflict-resolution as appropriate.

School-Age

School-age care is unfortunately not offered at each location, due to size and space constraints. We do have one location that is strictly school-age care - our Laurel School Age Site. This program is unique in using space with a partner business, Skateworld, that sits on the border of two school districts, so that many families can be served. This program serves school-age children during after-school hours and inservice days. Other locations may have smaller school-age environments, capping out at younger ages, as opposed to the 12 year old max that our School-age site is able to accommodate.
